Tasting Tuesday with Mommenpop & Poe

Tasting Tuesdays at Little Saint is Back! Every Second Tuesday of the month we will be bringing our favorite Winemakers in to mingle with our guests and hear firsthand about their wines.

On May 9th, We invite you to the Second Story of Little Saint to sip a Mommenpop Meyer Lemon spritz and taste the Poe wines with Sam and her incredible team! We fell in love with Sam's Sonoma Mountain 100% Pinot Meunier Sparkling wine, and stayed for her Dry red Pinot Meunier and locally, thoughtfully and sustainably made Apertif's by Mommenpop. Stop by anytime between 4-6pm on May 9th to Meet Sam and taste through the line-up! $10 per ticket.

Mommenpop is a wine-based citrus aperitif made in Napa, California by winemaker Samantha Sheehan. Made with organic, just-picked citrus, Mommenpop is exuberantly juicy, fresh and begging to be spritzed! We use the whole citrus (peels and all) to maximize flavor and fragrance. Combined with Samantha’s organically-farmed wines, the end result is a refreshing and perfectly-balanced beverage (with no added sugar, sulfur, dyes or flavorings). Enjoy Mommenpop over ice, with a splash of something sparkling.

Winemaker Samantha Sheehan has been crafting wines in Napa, California for over 10 years. She makes single-vineyard sparkling and still wines under the brands Poe Wines and Ultraviolet Wines. Her most recent project, Mommenpop, combines locally-grown California citrus with a base of her own wines for a uniquely bright and refreshing beverage that’s perfect over ice or in a spritz. Anyone who knows Sam knows that she is always in motion, always experimenting, always bursting with a great idea. Her happy place is at the winery, dreaming up her next project or sourcing unusual types of citrus. She has been featured in Wine Enthusiast’s Top 40 under 40, Forbes, Bloomberg, The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Wine & Spirits Magazine, and many others.
