Jenny O. is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Her latest album, Spectra, is a collection of psychedelic pop songs, useful mantras, and electric proclamations of love for nature, self, and others. Ognibene grew up on Long Island, New York, performing in cover bands and orchestras, and recording on her father’s reel-to-reel tape recorder. She studied jazz in NYC before making her way to California and into a career writing rock, folk, and R&B. Jenny O. has released six albums, toured with Jenny Lewis, Violent Femmes, Sixto Rodriguez, Father John Misty, and performed on recordings by Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Jonathan Wilson, Conor Oberst, and Jim James.
