Gill Landry is a two-time Grammy award winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Louisiana, he started his adventure in music as a busker on the streets of New Orleans in the late 90’s, where he steeped himself in the full spectrum of early American music and songwriting. In 2004 he became a contributing member of the band Old Crow Medicine Show with whom he recorded four albums and toured with until 2015. He began performing and recording his solo albums in 2006 and has since released five albums to various critical acclaim on the Nettwerk, ATO, and Loose labels. Each album has its own style and musical voice, featuring an array of talented musicians he’s met over the years, and duets with such artists as Laura Marling, Brandi Carlile, Jolie Holland, among others. Landry has toured extensively nationally and internationally as a headliner and support for a wide array of artists. He’s a lifer. He intends to take the ride till the wheels fall off. His next album “Cinnamon Canyon Blues” is slated for release in the fall of 2023.
